Week #42, 2025
Week #42 of 2025 has arrived... It finally started to feel like fall here... the walnuts are falling from the trees, leaving dents in the ground as they fall. Watch your head.
Time to walk over to your 4K Weeks poster and fill in another square. Done?
How exhilarating it is to be in the thick of a new project?! We are still working on the videos for the studio. Episode 2 of our eight week series launched today. We are still so early on in the process that it is a bit overwhelming, but also awesome.
I wish for you the exhilaration of an uncertain, creative, exciting, motivating, prayer to the universe. And if you want to see ours... here is Episode #2.
If you watch it and subscribe to the channel, shoot me an email with your thoughts and I will send you a 25% off coupon code for 4kweeks as a thank you.
I would love to hear what you liked, what you didn't like, if you thought it was interesting, boring, etc...
Thank you!

WHAT I CONSUMED THIS WEEK
![]() |
Episode #2 of the Sculpture Studio's new Youtube Series is live. One thing I have really been surprised by is how much work it takes just to kick out a medium length video! It has been really fun so far, lots of work and learning! Enjoy!

The Daily: Marriage and Sex in the Age of Ozempic. An interesting conversation about alot of things... it really made me think about how all of this human world is here because of human desire... and what happens if we suppress that desire.

The Night Circus, Erin Morgenstern. I started this this week... My wife and one of our friends were talking about it and it seemed interesting... it's weird... good... but odd.

QUOTE OF THE WEEK
"What do we live for, if it is not to make life less difficult for each other?" -George Eliot
I think this is one of the most frustrating things about the current minute.
It seems it's no longer embarrassing to scream to high heaven about what I'm entitled to, what I deserve, and it's "strength" to vilify anyone who dares to disagree.
Almost every single human I have ever met has just been a person trying to live a rewarding life without stepping on too many toes.
Sure, I've met a few narcissistic egomaniacs who would have burnt it all down just to make sure they got exactly what they wanted, but they are the small, small minority, and all of them also happened to be wealthy as opposed to struggling to make it.
I don't know what a good life is other than the one I'm trying to create... there are just too many possible permutations to put a pin on "a good life", but I certainly know that if you focus on making life easier on the people around you, that wouldn't be a bad life.
None of this is mine, none of this is yours. We are all just lucky to be here. Be kind. It's pretty easy if you have enough courage to try.
WHAT I AM THINKING ABOUT THIS WEEK
How special this all is...
This week while filming content for the third episode of the sculpture studio's new video series, I said something that really hit me later.
Hoodie, our videographer, was talking about the experience of being in the studio, and said something to the effect of "I've been here for 3 weeks, and every day we have talked about something you have made or something you are thinking about making." Which made me reflect for a second and then I said this...
"This might be the only 100 years in all of eternity that I have opposable thumbs and am able to act on the world, so I am going to make the most of it!"
Seriously. Think about it. If Heaven and Angels are your thing, then certainly being an angel is different than this... and so this might be your one chance to be in a body doing this stuff this way!
If universal spirituality is your thing, sure, maybe it will be great to be dust among the stars, with a view of the expanse of the multiverse, but as far as I know you can't climb a mountain up there. You certainly can't restore an old jeep up there. There are likely some activities, however boring they may be for you right now, that a spiritual essence would KILL to be able to experience.
How about giving and receiving a hug. Or doing the dishes... or walking... or running?
It is all so special when you expand the timeline. Things only seem mundane because you don't remember the eons of doing nothing.
The millions and billions of years your particles spend floating around in the ether just wishing they could coalesce into a being with opposable thumbs and the mysterious spark of consciousness.
Don't waste it. Squeeze all the doing you can out of these precious minutes... the millennia might pass slowly once you are done.
Until next week!
