"Thank you for holding, your call is very important to us, our next available client services professional with be with you momentarily"
No. It is not. If it was, you would have hired enough people so that I am not on hold for 40 minutes. (This is the message on my bank's phone system. Small local bank, gobbled up by a huge one.)
We know most companies don't actually care about you more than they care about their profits. It's usually only insulting when they try to tell us OVER AND OVER again that they do. (this message was repeated every 20 seconds for 40 minutes, they really DO care about making me think they care!)
Profit is important, no doubt. Actually valuing your customers usually protects and improves your profit.
Show up for the people in your life with ACTIONS. Your customers, your friends, your neighbors... Words are wind.
If you do that, the profits will take care of themselves.
Thanks for being a part of the journey with us! Please tell me if you liked/disliked the email this week. Ask my wife... those are the only emails I like to get!
