This morning I crossed another white square on my oh so aesthetically perfect and beautiful 4K weeks "fade to black" calendar, that my husband still fears to frame into a gold-plated antique frame and hang it in our house stairway as I had planned - but he still has some time to come to turn with his own life, ageing and mortality, as I did the moment when I saw beloved Dr. Peter Attia and Dr. Andrew Huberman showed what they have got and how it feels, and decided to definitely get it too and frame it and hang it.

And it's the most valuable thing I own. It reminds me so tenderly of the time that passes and so gently and daily encourages me to live more mindfully.

And so this morning, when I was doing some gardening, preparing it for the coming fall and winter, it was pouring rain, and I was completely wet and feeling cold - normally I felt miserable on such occasions - like, why on earth I have to do such a job - but this morning everything suddenly felt different - I was wondering how many such late summer gardening mornings, even if wet and cold- I will still have privilege to have - if I am lucky and age well, to be at all able to do some gardening- maybe 10 or 15... just... only... and then I realised how every single moment of our life should feel ever so precious and be fully and consciously lived. Even when the times become rough and challenging, overwhelming or we tend to suffer - my calendar and that rest of the white squares field constantly getting smaller and smaller, remind me of the preciousness of our lives and its finitude.

And above all, this "fade to black" is such an extraordinary work of art 🖼️🖤
