By the time a child is 18, they have spent 90% of the time they'll spend with their parents . . . in their whole lives.

By the time they are 14, they have spent 75 % of it.

Childhood is over in the blink of an eye. No one knows this better than parents. The 4K Weeks Blink of an Eye is a visual reminder of how fleeting our time with our kids is, and a daily reminder to be present in this time before it has slipped into the past.

The Blink of an Eye is a gift only the best of friends can give a new parent. A hard truth, given with love and a solution.

How it works: just enter the child’s birthdate, and we will pre-fill the weeks up to today. If the birth hasn’t happened yet, enter today’s date, and the poster will print with zero weeks filled in. Then, the recipient fills in one square each week as time marches on. It is a profound mindfulness practice.

You can also choose to:

• Fill in the squares with random colors, or black and white.
• Customize the headline with the child’s name, or a short quote - whatever you'd like.
• Include the birthdate on line 2.
• Add the bird leaving the nest at the bottom, or you can choose to leave any or all of the above blank.

The best way to make the most of your time with your kids is to remember how fleeting it is and play accordingly!
