Everything is so personal. Meaning... there is very little that applies equally to all. To one, a bee sting is a terribly painful, potentially mortal injury. To another, a minor inconvenience. Which one is wrong? Neither.

This matters when we are pushing ourselves to improve. The struggle you endure is for you. My struggle is for me.

We can encourage someone, shouting "You can do it" along the race route, but we can't judge how well or poorly they are running the race. That is for them.

I would encourage you to push yourself. Hard. As hard as you can bear in this moment.

Maybe "hard" is to lift 1000 pounds, maybe"hard" is to get out of bed. They are the same.

How hard is hard? That is up to you, not to me.

"You can DO it!"
